Testimonials

Built for people who present live

A few of the workflows where a clean second-screen view matters most.

I hated mirroring my entire desktop to my students, so I relied on handwritten outlines to keep my notes private. With twindow, I can keep my outline and materials side by side while only sharing what I choose. It’s reassuring knowing I won’t accidentally expose my notes.

Elena M.

High School Science Teacher

During client reviews, I keep a clean, presentation-ready view for the room while maintaining a separate working setup for myself. With twindow, that separation feels intentional—clients see only the polished output, while my tools and process remain private.

Marcus T.

Project Manager

I often present dashboards while keeping my models, and notes, off screen. With twindow, I can build a dashboard on my extended desktop and then share that directly to zoom, or to my audience in person. It's a really simple tool and that's what I like about it.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are the system requirements?

twindow requires macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or newer and supports Apple Silicon Macs only (arm64: M1, M2, M3, or M4).

Is it screen mirroring?

Not full-screen mirroring. twindow is selective duplication of specific application windows.

Does it record my screen?

No. twindow does not record your screen. macOS requires apps to request Screen Recording permission in order to access the contents of a window. twindow uses this permission only to live-mirror the selected window to a twindow on another display. Nothing is recorded, stored, or saved to a video file.

Does twindow save any of my data?

No. twindows are read-only and do not save your videofeed, or keystrokes, or anything else. Nothing leaves your device.

Will it work with Zoom or OBS?

twindow helps you prepare what to share on a second monitor, but it is not a Zoom or OBS plugin. We recommend using twindow in conjunction with these tools to create a seamless presentation experience.
